1986年9月~1990年7月就读于南京林业大学化学工程学院制浆造纸专业，获工学学士学位；1990年9月~1993年7月就读于南京林业大学化学工程学院制浆造纸专业，获工学硕士学位； 1993年7月起于南京林业大学化工学院、轻工科学与工程学院从事植物资源化学与利用方面的教学和科研工作，先后担任助教、讲师和副教授。
      参加了“十二五”、“十三五”国家重点研发计划、国家自然基金项目、国家林业局重点科研项目、江苏省环保局社会发展基金项目等课题的研究开发工作。发表学术论文100余篇，获授权发明专利20多项，3项成果通过部省级以上验收和鉴定，获宁夏回族自治区科技进步一等奖、国家林业局科学技术进步二等奖和教育部科技进步二等奖各一项。
